Bumps, grinds and shimmies
Every classic burlesque routine contains three basic moves: bumps, grinds, and shimmies.
Bumps are movements of the hips that allow you to “hit” the audience with all the sensuality of your curves. They can also be matched with walking.
Grinds are hip circles that will make the audience’s head turn and will drive them crazy.
Shimmies are movements of the shoulders that will make you quiver and shake to the delight of your audience.
